Specialty Development Executive - Mid-America Territory
Applicant must reside within the sales territory.
Territory includes: Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Western Louisiana, Missouri, Kansas, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Utah, Nevada, Wyoming, Nebraska, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Montana
Applicant will ideally live in: Dallas, TX or Houston, TX
The Specialty Development Executive (SDE-CRC) is responsible for effectively communicating and promoting the clinical and economic value of ColoSense⢠colorectal cancer screening test to healthcare providers, including family practitioners, internists, OB/GYNs, and gastroenterologists within an assigned geographic territory. In addition to driving product adoption, the SDE-CRC provides ongoing education and support to healthcare professionals in office and hospital settings. This role also includes strategic business planning and development to support the growth of current and future product lines.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Consistently meet and exceed sales goals, driving maximum market penetration and product utilization within the assigned territory.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on colorectal cancer screening options and testing modalities, educating healthcare providers on clinical value and best use cases.
- Effectively network offices and providers to operationalize the use of Geneoscopy testing services within and across healthcare systems.
- Work with Geneoscopy's medical leadership to develop a network of thought leader champions and Key Opinion Leaders to support the use of Geneoscopy testing services.
- Accurately forecast and manage assigned territory's book of business in alignment with a ninety-day quota cycle for existing, acquired, and future products, as directed by sales leadership.
- Act as a strategic liaison between Geneoscopy and its partners, fostering strong collaboration to identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Develop and execute territory-specific business plans for key accounts, including quarterly business reviews and ongoing strategic planning with customers.
- Attend Quarterly Plan of Action meetings and actively contribute to team strategy and planning discussions.
- Effectively insulate existing business from competitive threats and work to regain lost accounts, while sharing market insights with sales and marketing teams.
- Provide actionable field insights and feedback to sales leadership and marketing to help shape strategy and messaging.
- Maintain structured, consistent communication with Geneoscopy sales leadership to ensure alignment on priorities and performance.
- Collaborate effectively in a team-selling environment, partnering with internal and external channel partners to drive lead generation and strengthen customer relationships.
- Leverage sales analytics, market data, and customer insights to inform strategy and uncover new growth opportunities.
- Effectively manage time and resources, demonstrating strong business judgment, and consistently meet daily call expectations.
- Partner with the marketing team to support the development and execution of marketing campaigns, tools, and sales materials.
- Represent Geneoscopy at local and national trade shows, industry events, and conferences, promoting products and building customer relationships.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Geneoscopy's CRM, ensuring timely documentation of all customer interactions and account updates.
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree required.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Possess a minimum of 5 years of successful experience in medical device or laboratory sales.
- Previous experience with a product launch is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrate a track record of consistently exceeding sales goals, with the ability to engage in consultative selling that uncovers and addresses individualized clinical needs through a data-driven approach.
- Demonstrate strong skills in persuasion, influence, and strategic communication.
- Exemplify the proven ability to understand, interpret, and effectively communicate complex scientific literature, integrating clinical data into the sales process.
- Possess successful working experience in both in-person and virtual environments.
- Exemplify the ability to multitask and thrive in an agile, fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient.

SCHEDULE
This is a salaried position, requiring at least 40 hours per week. There may be projects that require activities beyond the standard hours.
Note: This position requires up to 80% travel. Employees in this role must be able to travel frequently, sometimes on short notice, and be comfortable working independently on the road.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Base salary range: $130,000 - 140,000/annually, determined based on the candidate's experience, knowledge, and abilities.
